New Year

0 min read
I haven't been on this site in quite a while. Life has been very busy. I recently got married and my son was born 6months ago. There has been a LOT going on in Japan, with the Fukushima Nuclear accident. Soon the Osaka government will burn radioactive contaminated debris at a local incineration plant, further contaminating the country. The Media is terrible here. Highly censored. So although the people are fearful of what may happen, there is little momentum to the anti-nuclear movement. Fingers crossed however. I have still been working hard at my Photography and Art. I will be posting more in the future. I hope you'll like it.

So far the new year has been going in the right direction. I recently got the cover and was featured in the magazine Japanzine. The issue profiled western artists living in Japan. Here is a link to the website and a free download. http://www.seekjapan.jp/article/jz/2642/DOWNLOAD+Japanzine+April+2010+Issue+HERE! Also, I'm in the middle of moving apartment now, so things are pretty hectic. I will be moving to Osaka-ko which is a pretty nice area. The new apartment is certainly much cozier.. So, I have been a little slow in finishing new work. I have soooo much stuff to complete..

So far it has been an important year for me. I am recently engaged. I proposed to my love while we were holidaying at a famous resort in Western Australian called Monkey Mia. Wild dolphins come to the shore of this beautiful beach resort every morning. I got plenty of good photographs too. I submitted some images to the resorts photo competition and won, which payed for the hotel fees!! Plus I was published in a local magazine called Japanzine and won a photo comp for The Kyoto Shimbun. This has been a good motivator for me. I aim to produce a lot of good quality work this year. There are may good artists here at Deviant Art. It
